JACKIE PELAEZ

Creator of Uke Adventure Around The World

For many years Jackie sang professionally and toured internationally with her chamber choir. Now she just resigned to her music teaching job in an Elementary School in Goleta so she can dedicate more time to develop Uke Adventure, teach in the after school classes and adults's workshops. She teaches privately ukulele and voice in Santa Barbara as well as online, in English and Spanish.

At SBCC  School of Extended Learning,  Jackie teaches ukulele for older adults, a Spanish class. If you want to listen to Jackie's opera singing click here.

EMILY YURCHESHEN

Creator of Uke Adventure Around The World

Emily is an educator who inspires children of all ages to write, sing and play music. She doubted her ability to express herself musically until she was guided on an amazing adventure around the world. It was through her travels that she began to hear music in her own heart. Soon after, she began teaching others to play the music they hear on ukulele, guitar and piano. She teaches in our after school classes, adult's workshops and  privately in Santa Barbara as well as online.

At SBCC School of Extended Learning she is teaching a class called: How to Break Through your Creative Blocks  based on her book:

An Odyssey of Song: Musical Journey into your Creative Heart
